MISCELLANEOUS
Need extra help in Math or Science? Do you get stuck on your Math or Science homework? Well, you’re in luck! Logan has free tutoring by Logan teachers in Math and Science. Tutoring starts next week, on Tuesday in the Reference Room after school. We also have tutoring in Math and Science on some Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Look for signs all around campus, and ask your counselor, friendly office staff, or your Math and Science teacher for more details! Tutoring in Math and Science on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in the Reference Room starting next week!

The new and improved Logan P.E. sweats are now available at the Main Office window. Sweatshirts with hoods are $20, and sweat pants are $18. Get yours today!

School year work permit applications are now available in the Career Center, House 1, 2 & 3 Offices, and online at the Logan website. Summer work permits expire September 20th. Requirement minimum 2.0 GPA and good attendance to qualify for school year work permit. Return to Mr. Richberg in the Career Center office or Room 63.

Students, have you noticed all the trash after lunch at our school? It’s hard for our custodial staff to keep our campus clean when so many of us leave our trash behind after lunch! And since there are few custodians than there used to be, it’s even more difficult to keep our campus clean. So, help out and please make sure to throw away your trash when you finish. Let’s keep our campus clean!

Homework – Saturday school will be open this school year for 25 Saturdays. Our first is this Saturday, September 25th, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Take advantage of a place to get some tutoring, computers, a place to work with peers, and a welcome atmosphere too. Enter by carpeted hallway near Media Center to Rooms 77 and 78. Stop in and get a schedule of our open 25 Saturdays.

ACTIVITIES
Anyone interested in joining the Wrestling Team must attend the sign-up meeting next Tuesday, September 28, after school in the mat room next to the weight room. Important information will be passed out.

Students and Staff, come out and support our football team this Friday. We are playing the 3-0 Heritage High Patriots. It will be a great game. JV plays at 4:30 and Varsity plays at 7:00. See you there!!! Go Colts!!!

The Ohlone College Fair is just 2 weeks away. Check out close to 100 colleges from across the U.S. and Canada all in one place! So mark your calendars for Wednesday, October 6th at 6:00 p.m. in Ohlone’s Epler Gym.

The New Haven Schools Foundation will be hosting its 2nd Annual Mutt Strut fundraiser on Saturday, October 16th. 20 Volunteers are needed. Sign-ups will be taken in the Career Center.

Attn. all Logan students: Nominate your Homecoming Court in the 300s courtyard in the back of the Leadership room during your lunch periods.

Boys Basketball will be hosting Open Gym on Tuesday and Wednesday nights from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. All students are welcome to participate.
