History shows us how the wars for occupying land (and the resources that come with it) have been going on for a long time. The discovery of America provided most of it during at least three hundred years until independent movements from many colonies started to take place. Although no more “physical territory” remains visible for grabs, we continue to fight an ongoing battle for a more subtle “space”.
Each human being is born with a personal record composed of inherited DNA which is also part of a larger collection of data where evolution leaps have been “engraved”. Even though we have not had a mutation deep enough to differentiate our specie beyond those changes necessary to adapt to a specific climate, the immense bundle of information that we handle now days could never be compared to that of five decades ago. Therefore, we have been developing efficient ways to store and handle enormous packets of it.
Data accumulated through time by our specie could be compared to tracks engraved on a vinyl record where the lines dividing the songs represent baby steps that have forced us to evolve into what we are today. The farther we get from the center the longer it takes us to complete a circle which explains the always increasing quantity of information we process at a faster pace.
What forces us to evolve and keep trying new things is the space/energy created by the minds of each new generation born. They observe and process everyday data inherited from parents without having to experience it and then, they take the logical shortcuts and discard what seems unnecessary allowing space and energy to be invested in designing new ways.
This is precisely the only “space” left. There is a constant battle being fought to occupy it with an agenda pushed by the mainstream media, ruling class and/or Hollywood. Fake idols and corrupt models are continually used to sell products or specific “ideas”. Under such manipulative schemes, freedom of expression is rarely a threat even if the prize of becoming rich cannot be achieved because people are distracted with all sorts of entertainment that prevent them from thinking about it.
The space that could help us evolve by creating solutions to our current issues is usually wasted being exploited for mere consumption purposes. Fortunately not all end up useless and some even manage to learn and rise like ocean waves.
If internet must have servers to store the information as well as portals to connect it so all population can benefit from such a benign system, wise and good models should be able to channel the appropriate information through the youth for everybody’s well being. Undoubtedly, this process is currently thwarted so until conditions improve we must bear uprisings and instability rather than smooth generational turnovers.
The space that contains the pool of information connecting all human beings may expand and contract similar to the tides of an ocean. However, it might not just be moon magnetism but sun radiation the main source of pressure upon our shared magnetic field. According to such source of energy, about every eleven years, and a bit more following the solar spots cycle duration, there is a probability of advancing further in the creation of a new wave and eventually, get to see the best venturing to take the next step instead of letting themselves to be dragged back. Then, resembling those first fish pushed hard enough to come out of the swamp waters millions of years ago, maybe we get lucky and witness good leaders, with strong freedom of conscience, guide the rest of us out of this mess.
