On Wednesday, , Loganís track and field team took first place in almost all of the events in a meet against Mission San Jose.
Sophomore Kareem Dupree grabbed first place in the 300m hurdles junior varsity. Jeffrey Protho, a junior, tookfirst place in the varsity 300m hurdles. Prothro also took first place in the triple jump, setting the state record to beat.
Junior Bianca Vierra won first place in women's 300m hurdles. Team mate and fellow junior Kaylen Chatman took first place in 400m run and the 200m run.
Logan had many more outstanding winners such as Senior Abraham Espinoza taking first place in the 3200m.
Fans from both teams cheered each other on as everyone showed great sportsmanship and dedication.
