James Logan HS had a dual meet against Irvington last week and won it.
Irvington had a lot of great runners but Logan was still able to prevail over them.
Willie Latin, Rufus Wollo, Damond Beasley, and Karsten Weighthington took first place in the 4-by-100-meter relay race.
Sarah Perrin took first place for the women’s varsity in the 1600 meter race with a time of 5:35.
Abraham Espinoza took first place for Mens varsity in the 1600 eter with a time of 4:35. Zavier Garcia took first place in the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15 seconds. Kareem Dupree took first place in the 50 meter hurdles.
Rufus Wollo took first place in the 200 meter race. Willie Latin took first place in the 100 meter race. Willie Latin, Kaylen Chatman, Rufus Wollo, and Talat Aleem took first place in men’s varsity 4x4 relay race. Great races and efforts took place that Wednesday.
